My home is out in the country near Mission Valley, Texas, my problem was HARD water with lots of calcium deposits on my faucets.. I purchased a refurbished Kinetico water softener system from Aqua Purification back in 2008. It has been in service now for 3 years with no issues. I didn't have to run electricity to the unit which made it nice. I have had to do nothing to the water softener unit except add salt. I am a very satisfied customer. - John Ortmann
